Your Frequently Sanitized Kitchen Sponge is Dirtier Than You Think.

The verdict is out! It is time to discard your used kitchen sponge because your life depends on it. A recent study, published in Scientific Reports, shows that even the harshest of treatments, such as microwaving and boiling of your sponges, do little to destroy disease causing bacteria. In fact, these methods serve to increase the growth potential of these bacteria, as weaker bacteria are destroyed. In other words, the more you clean your sponge, the more likely the pathogenic bacteria will proliferate. Your used sponge is truly a breeding ground for infectious organisms that can potentially kill you.

The solution: Get rid of your old sponge and get a new one. It is more economical to do. How much does a sponge cost? Buy them at wholesale prices so you will have an endless supply. Discover dish cleaning melamine sponges at wholesale prices. Learn more here.
